Graduate Students

Thank you for your interest in the ReaCH Lab! Dr. Corsini-Munt is planning on recruiting one new graduate student to start with the Fall 2027 cohort (Clinical or Experimental Psychology PhD Programs). Before expressing your interest, we strongly encourage prospective students to review the application process and deadlines, and the program entry requirements. Students interested in applying to the Clinical Program may also benefit from reviewing the ranking grid

Any given year, the evaluation of potential students depends on many factors including but not limited to: number of students in the lab, availability of spots, pool of comparative candidates, and fit with research interests and style.

Here at the ReaCH lab, there are many areas of research possible, ranging from sexual wellbeing, couple’s health and wellbeing, and chronic pain management. If you are interested in pursuing your graduate studies under the supervision of Dr. Corsini-Munt, please contact her directly. Please include a description of your research interest, copies of your unofficial transcripts, as well as your CV. The formal interviews for the top candidates will occur at the end of January or early February.

Honours Students

Dr. Corsini-Munt is likely recruiting one honours student for 2027-2028. If you are interested, please e-mail Dr. Corsini-Munt directly with copies of your unofficial transcripts, your CV and a writing sample (report or paper from a previous course accepted). Thank you for your interest in joining the lab!

Research Assistants

As we are a growing lab, we are often looking for new members to join and give us a hand. We are moving towards a model where students are credited for their lab involvement and learning experiences through Directed Reading and Directed Research Projects. It is important that interested students check with their Faculty advisor that they have the room to register for these courses. It is also important to note that registration must be first approved by Dr. Corsini-Munt and then submitted to the Undergraduate Program for approval.

As a student member in the lab you can expect to help with many projects and activities, including but not limited to preliminary literature searches, recruitment work for studies (including participant contact and screening), data management and analysis, and collaborating with other students on their projects. If you are interested in joining our lab, please email reachlab@uOttawa.ca and include the following: name, program, year of study, why you want to get involved, and if you are interested in PSY4110 and PSY4310. Please also attached your CV and a copy of your unofficial transcripts. Please note that we have closed applications for 2026-2027.

If there is a posted RA position, please apply as specified in the posting.
