Elisa Stragapede
Elisa is a Ph.D. Candidate in Experimental Psychology with an interest in the dynamic of couples dealing with a chronic pain or progressive health condition. Challenges surrounding intimacy, satisfaction, and quality of life within the dyadic relationship are her biggest interests. She hopes to pursue a career researching couples adjusting to health conditions and assist in the development and evaluation of support programs.

Erin McClung
Erin completed her B.Sc. Hons at Trent University. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology and joined the ReaCH Lab in September 2020. Erin’s research interests focus on basic psychological need satisfaction and frustration, self-determined sexual motivation, and sexual well-being.

Paola Garcia Mareina
Paola completed her B.H.Sc. and B.Sc. Hons at the University of Ottawa. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology and joined the ReaCH lab in September 2022. Her research interests focus on health psychology, including but not limited to human sexuality and well-being, interpersonal relationships and its bifurcations with chronic pain. In addition, she hopes to study how these topics can be affected by modern technologies. In her spare time, Paola enjoys reading, baking, cooking, and being active.

Ryan Pecore
Ryan is a Ph.D. Student in Clinical Psychology. He joined the lab as an honors student in 2021. His work has focused on the associations between motivation and sexual wellbeing in couples with endometriosis. In his spare time, Ryan enjoys cooking, reading, and exploring new cafés.
